This Sunday is “Transfiguration Sunday” – the Sunday that commemorates when Jesus went up the mountain with Peter, James & John and is transfigured and becomes radiant in glory before their eyes. Can you just imagine, if you were one of the disciples, what that might have been like? Almost unimaginable, yet it’s an important & encouraging event that is recorded for us in three of the gospels, as well as in 2 Peter 1:16-18. Pastor Randall will be sharing more about the Transfiguration in our Sunday morning worship service, so I hope you and your family can join us this Sunday – 9:45am for Sunday School and 11:00am for Worship.
Enjoy your weekend!
P.S. I noticed that last Sunday’s bulletin said that the Care Home Services are on Friday. The Care Home services were actually last night (Thursday), so my apologies if anyone was planning on attending & missed them, due to the mix-up in the bulletin.
