Pictures from our Children’s Day Sunday have now been posted to our website. Take a look at them below (bottom right), or head on over to our Flicker page, for these and many more!
May showers bring June flowers?? Or at the very least it makes the grass grow like CRAZY! BUT even with that, we are indeed thankful for the ABUNDANT showers that God has blessed our land with! I can’t help but go outside and smile at the depths of the green colour in the leaves and at the Robin’s singing their beautiful songs – I’m sure in their praise to God!
“All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name!”
This Sunday we’ll be at Covenant Bay Bible Camp for our annual Children’s Day Service. (There’s NO service at Malmo on Sunday.) The day begins in the camp chapel at 10:30am with a time of worship. The fellowship and fun continues with a BBQ lunch and games, races and activities in the afternoon. The canteen will be open as well in the afternoon. Environment Canada says that it’s suppose to be sunny and 27 degrees – a truly lovely day to be out at camp! Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, ball gloves, sunscreen & maybe even bug spray?? And if you’re able help out, there’s a few jobs that will need to be done at camp to make sure it’s back in tip-top shape, before we leave.
A BIG thanks to all of you who responded to last week’s email! I sure appreciated it! It looks like this is a good and preferred way of communication for many of you, so we will continue with this format.
Enjoy this beautiful weekend and I hope to see you at Camp on Sunday at 10:30am!
Come join us this Sunday at 9:45am for the final Sunday School class of the school year. And then at 11:00am we join together in the sanctuary for our morning Worship Service – music, prayers, scripture, teaching and fellowship. A lovely morning indeed! 🙂
There’s lots going on at camp these days. They’re getting ready for their upcoming Fun Run and Fundraising Dinner – both happening on Saturday June 4th. Sponsor sheets for the Fun Run are available on the Malmo Info Table and tickets for the Fundraising Dinner are available from Sarah K. at church, or on the camp’s website at: www.covenantbay.ca
Happy Weekend Folks!
Last Sunday, Pastor Randall shared that Covenant Bay Bible Camp is opening up it’s doors for the recent fire evacuees. Volunteers and financial help are needed to make this all work well. If you can help, please give the camp a call at 780-586-2828 or head over to their website at: www.covenantbay.ca

We’re just talking here in the office that we are in the final week of April already! April sure seems to have flown by!! We’re looking forward to May and the promise of more Spring in all it’s beauty! 🙂
With Spring officially here and with the rain that has fallen, the grass around the church is beautifully green! It’s also ‘beautifully growing’! (I bet you know what I’m going to ask next…) It’s that time of year again, when we are looking for volunteers to mow and care for our church grounds. Are you and your mower able to help us out? Take a look at your calendar and see if you can volunteer for a couple of weeks this summer. The sign up schedule will be posted on the bulletin board in the foyer on Sunday. Thanks so much for considering this and helping us out!
The Canada Conference AGM in Breton is 2 weeks away, and the conference has just published their 112th Annual Report. If you would like to read about what’s going on in our churches, affiliated ministries and global engagements, click here. And remember, that anyone can attend the AGM in Breton. For more information on the meeting and how to register, go to: http://www.covchurch.ca/annual-general-meeting
This Sunday during our 11:00am worship service, we will be sharing in Holy Communion together. Can you take a few minutes this weekend and ready your heart for meeting with God at the table? Pastor Randall wrote a prayer a couple of years ago that is really helpful in preparing our hearts and minds for the table. Click here if you’d like to read it.
Enjoy the sun today & hang on to your hat! 🙂
Good morning All,
