A year of growth

A year of growth…

2016 has been a year of many questions and I’ve spent a great amount of time searching for answers. It has also been a year of me trying to say yes more, and trying to allow God to take me outside of my comfort zone to experience all He has for my life. With this outcome in mind, I was given the opportunity to teach Sunday school and my first response was to say no. However, God continued to place it on my heart, nudging me until I finally agreed. I was unsure what to expect, however being a teacher has been one of the most rewarding undertakings I have ever done. It has its challenges, especially on the weeks when I feel that I don’t have enough answers to give the kids. However through it all, God has continued to show me that I don’t need the answers, because He has them.He has also used these kids to teach me things, something I never thought would happen being their teacher. They have taught me with greater clarity what it means to have child-like faith, and this year, better than ever before, I have understood why Jesus tells us to mimic the faith of a child.
