Weekly News – July 31

Hasn’t this week of sunshine been just lovely?!  I’ve truly enjoyed it!!  :). A few announcements for you this weekend…

Dennis and Ruth are celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary on August 8th with a come and go outdoor party at the Church of God in Wetaskiwin from 2:00 to 4:30.  The address is 4407 – 56 Av. The church is right across from Norwood School. Come for a distance visit and enjoy some coffee or pop and some individually wrapped treats. If it’s raining we will cancel.

We are continuing to collect cards & monetary gifts for Pastor Randall & Lauralea’s daughter, Hillary and her fiance Dave.  The last Sunday that Charlene and I will be receiving your cards and gifts will be Sunday, August 9th. Thank you to those of you who have participated by showing your support and love of this new couple!

THIS Sunday (August 2nd, 2020) will be our yearly Worship At Covenant Bay Bible Camp. Physical worship at Malmo will be cancelled. There will be services online for you to join in with.
(Please feel free to attend only if you are comfortable with it)  The details are below:

We also understand that you might not be ready to head out to camp this Sunday – and that’s okay!  We have an online service prepared that we hope you will engage with.  You can find it on our website at: www.malmochurch.ca/scattered-but-worshiping-together/.   It is a bit of a different ‘at home worship service’ this week.  We’re giving you opportunity to tune into 1 of 4 different Canada Covenant Church Worship services.   We hope you’ll enjoy these unique and different options for worshipping God this Sunday.

Take care Folks,
