Weekly News-Sept. 10th

I’ve been struggling to find words this week.  It’s probably due to a combination of the long hours that I’ve spent on the combine this week, with a deep sorrow for all that is going on around us.  I am weary – physically and emotionally – so I don’t feel that I have much to share with you, other than this encouragement from God’s Word…

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.”
~Romans 8:26-27

So when the words are all bumbled, and we don’t know what to say, it’s okay because God knows that we are weak and that some days are difficult.  He’s given us His Spirit to help us and intercede for us.  What a beautiful promise.  No words needed yet communication between us and our Father still happens.  Just more evidence of how much God loves and takes care of us.

We’re gathering this Sunday for worship at 10:30am.  We hope you can join us.  If you aren’t able to, our live stream service can be accessed HERE.

Take care,
Delora
